Application Server
Our application server suite will appeal to more technical users. IT departments or contractors can use this application framework as an extremely robust and flexible environment for business process automation. "Lego™ or R blocks" is the closest metaphor here and the scope of business solutions you can assemble on demand is only limited by your imagination.
Our flagship product is the WebAssembler.NET™ Application Suite. The Standard Edition includes WebAssembler.NET™ Application Server (backend) and WebAssembler.NET™ Portal (user interface) and one workspace license per server processor. The Enterprise Edition also includes WebSnippet™ Composer and unlimited workspace licenses per server processor.
WebAssembler.NET™ Application Server is a virtual machine integrated with the Microsoft .NET Framework. It provides execution environment for the WebSnippets™ and enables the entire business application cycle.
WebAssembler.NET™ Portal is a common framework for delivering and managing Web applications, including content management, business process automation, identity management, search and collaboration. Under additional workspace licenses, one WebAssembler.NET™ Portal framework can hold multiple, multilingual portlets that appear to the outside user as standalone, fully featured Web portals.
WebSnippets™ are our version of the Microsoft Web Parts and are standard-based and fully XML-compliant. You have a choice of purchasing pre-built, high-quality WebSnippets™ from our Gallery, building them from scratch yourself with our browser-based WebSnippet™ Composer (or hand-coding them in MS Visual Studio.NET™) or getting them from third-parties as commercial off-the-shelf software components. As long as these components are built to work with the Microsoft .NET Framework, you will not experience any compatibility problems.
Using this powerful package, you can design, develop and deploy your own business applications in a matter of hours, while simplifying maintenance and thus significantly reducing total cost of ownership. Each business application is a collection of WebSnippets™ running on top of the WebAssembler.NET™ Application Server and presented to end users through the WebAssembler.NET™ Portal.
